How Much Should I Pay for This Acura TL?

I am going to look at this car today, and I’m just wondering what you think is a fair price. It is being sold by used car dealer, so it isn’t certified used. However, a condition of me buying will be that my mechanic can look it over. Let me know what a fair price is.

A 2003 TL is the old body style. 50 k miles is no big deal in an Acura. All Acura’s come with the above as standard Equipment. Where you are in the country can have a bearing on price. In general $12,000 to $14,000 if it is not certified add about $2000 to $4000 if certified. Certified adds 1 year and 12,000 miles on top of the factory bumper to bumper warranty and an other year and up to 100,000 miles on the power train. There is also a 150 point inspection done to certifi the vehicle that will insure all the filters, fluids and belts are changed to Acura specs (your mechanic may not even have that info available to him). Always better to purchase a performance vehicle from an authorized dealer, you know exactly what you are getting and they have a reputation to maintain.

I just bought an 03 TL last week. it has 60,000 milles and the car is immaculate. I paid $15,000 for it and i’m satisfied. they are good cars and if you take care of it, it will last a long long time. Also check kelly blue book value on car. that should give you an idea on what itz worth

    $19,995 Highest price
    $9,995 Lowest price
    $15,757 Average price

Kelly Blue Book wholesale is 15975 Retail is 19715. (After a $1100 add for low miles). Since there is a new body style on the TL shoot as close to the wholesale price as possible since there is a higher demand on the new style.

A Fair price is around 16,500 for it but you could probably get for any where between 15,000 and 16,000 if you mess with them enough and play hard to sell. Good Luck

  12. nate says:

    15,000 – 18,000

KKB.com says its around 15,975 wholesale & 19,765 Retail. I would say a fair price would be $15k because theres a new body style.. Good Luck..
